OVERVIEW: Fahad Ijaz is an Electrical Engineer and Engineering Manager at NuConsult Services with over a decade of involvement in the renewable energy sector. He has experience supporting utility-scale solar and energy storage projects, contributing to the development and operation of projects totaling hundreds of megawatts. Fahad brings strong technical expertise in power systems, renewable energy integration, and operational planning, along with a proven ability to deliver high-quality engineering solutions and documentation.
In addition to his role at NuConsult, Fahad serves as the CEO of Omnex Energy Pvt.Ltd, where he is actively involved in the development and execution of renewable energy projects. His combined technical and leadership experience enables him to support clients in improving system reliability, operational efficiency, and long-term asset performance.
WORK EXPERIENCE: Fahad’s experience spans power systems engineering, renewable energy systems, and battery storage technologies. He has worked on a wide range of projects including solar PV plants, microgrids, and wind energy systems. His work includes developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), performing substation and system reliability analyses, and supporting commissioning and operational planning for energy infrastructure projects.
He has been involved in key technical areas such as grid integration, load flow and arc flash analysis, protection coordination, and BESS system design and evaluation. Fahad has also contributed to long-term O&M planning, technical due diligence, and performance analysis for renewable energy assets.
