Job Title: Owner’s Representative Solar Construction

Position Type: Full-time

Coordinate with owner and project stakeholders to ensure alignment of construction contractor with overall project goals.
Confirm compliance with environmental regulations and permitting requirements.
Monitor the construction activities of the contractors and subcontractors responsible for civil works and notify owner of any deficiencies.
Confirm project schedules and ensure that tasks are completed on time.
Communicate with project stake holders and provide regular progress updates
Manage and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process

Travel up to 95% on average, at locations or porject sites may be required
Ability to work effectively in power plant environments and field site locations required
Capable of contributing in a team environment with site personnel as well as third party contractors
Fundamental understanding of the following required:
- Current-day solar PV and wind generation technologies
- Electrical interconnections and control systems
Excellent knowledge of electrical design, installation, and testing standards, codes, and regulations
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Experience with project management tools and software

Experience at large utility solar and wind plants preferred
Subcontractor and contract management experience required
Experience or ability to read permits and understand obligations throughout the operational life of the plant
