For the last eight years, his focus has been on Utility-Scale Solar Development. Specializing in solar site development, environmental restoration, and civil site development, Alan brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for innovation to every project. A Certified Construction Management Professional (CCMP) in PV Solar Systems (2020), Alan has successfully managed multi-million dollar projects and led teams on complex environmental restorations. His commitment to quality and safety is unwavering, holding certifications as a DEQ Responsible Land Disturber, OSHA 30 Certified, and MSHA 40 Certified. He is adept at utilizing the latest construction technologies, including GPS models and software programs like ProCore and Bluebeam, to maximize efficiency and minimize risk. As a BLS provider and certified safety professional, Alan is deeply committed to ensuring the well-being of his team and the success of every project. Based in Raleigh, N.C., Alan will be providing Owner’s Representative Services to the NuConsult team.

WORK EXPERIENCE: In Alan’s 25 years of civil construction experience, he has climbed his way through the ranks starting as a simple ground hand, to equipment operator, foreman, and on up to Senior Site Superintendent. Often filling more than one role on a project to help support his team. Alan has completed the civil development of over 10000 acres of ground-mounted utility-scale solar, contributing to over 800MW of clean energy production. Alan has been in the traveling contract management arena for 13 years, with the last 8 years being strictly Utility-Scale Solar management. Alan has built sites in New Mexico, Arkansas, Virginia, North Carolina, Minnesota, New York, and Georgia. Alan has worked with multiple system providers such as Nextracker, ATI, GameChange, and Soltec.
