OVERVIEW: Jim McArthur is working as a consultant for NuConsult Services. Jim started his career in 1978 in the United States Navy. He served as a Boiler Technician for 10 years. His military experience prepared him for an exceptional civilian power facility career. As a Plant Manager, he is well versed in operations, maintenance, environmental, financial, and health and safety performance.    

WORK EXPERIENCE: Jim possesses over 30 years of operations, maintenance, and management experience in a variety of power plants utilizing a range of fuels. He has held many management positions, including Maintenance Manager, Operations Manager, Project Manager, and Plant Manager at Biomass, Wind, Coal, and Gas Turbine facilities. His solid grounding in all facets of the power industry combined with his diverse experience makes him uniquely qualified to understand the concerns and values of stakeholders.
